Recently I had the pleasure of discussing Mastery Portfolio with Dr. Will. As a former HS English teacher and District Curriculum leader, the transition into business has been an interesting one.
Despite feeling expert as an educator, and being able to share my expertise about assessment with the company I am now a partner in, learning to shift my skill set to business has been an interesting and challenging road.
Have a listen to our conversation and if you're interested in learning more about how to track your asset-based learning, we may have a solution for you... have a listen.
What are your key takeaways? I'd love to know.
Great job guys. I agree with Starr's advice. I would add that moving knowledge to long-term memory is beneficial.. This is due to the fact that when you are trying to solve a problem all you have is access to your long-term memory and what ever is in the environment that can populate your working memory. The environment features input from your senses, which can include collaboration with others. Keep up the good work and thanks for taking the time to do this. I'll post it tomorrow at https://DrDougGreen.com.
