Start of School Series: Setting Up Rituals and Routines in the No Grades Classroom

In part two of the series, Isaac Wells and I dive deeper into the kinds of routines and rituals teachers can set up to really ensure student voices are heard throughout the assessment process.

We were able to discuss welcome letters, reflection protocols, choosing standards to align with teacher and student goals.

The first two weeks have been really successful and hopefully useful to participants. If you'd be interested in participating in the future, check out our schedule here.

The next session is all about standards selection and building progressions in our classes to help students understand where they are and how to set better goals.

Check out all of the great resources from the Teachers Throwing Out Grades Group on Facebook as well.
